Large Print Word Searches: What to Look For
Large Print Word Searches: What to Look For
A large-print word search should be enjoyable to use, not simply bigger on the shelf. Here are a few practical details to check before choosing a book.
Look at the page, not just the cover
Check the letter size, spacing, word list, and contrast. If possible, look at a sample page before buying. Readability is personal: what feels comfortable to one reader may not work for another.
Match the activity to the setting
At home, readers may prefer a relaxed pace. For a community center or library program, an activity director may want puzzles that can support individual participation or small-group discussion.
Know the format
Word Search Librito Volume X — Big & Audaz uses an 8.5 × 11-inch format and contains 80 puzzles. It’s part of our English–Spanish word-search collection. See Large Print books.
A note for organizers
If you’re ordering for a senior center, library, or community program, you can explore our institutional catalog and request a group-order quote. Individual buyers can go directly to Shop Books.
The best test is simple: can the reader comfortably find and follow the words on the page? Whenever possible, try a sample first.
