Coloring I Word Lab: Color It, Find It, Say It in Two Languages

What do you call a fruit that looks like a red sea urchin with hair? In both English and Spanish, it’s a rambutan (rambután), from the Malay word for hair. It’s one of the first words you’ll meet in Coloring I, and you’ll probably never forget it once you’ve colored one.

That’s the idea behind this book: color the picture first, then find the words. Each spread pairs illustrations, labeled in English and Spanish, with a word search built from the same vocabulary. The words are written on the facing page, next to the pictures, so the coloring is your word list.

What’s inside

  • 60 puzzles with 6 pairs each (12 words to find).
  • Friendly themes: Fruits, Mammals, Ocean, Sweets, Winter, Summer, Babies, Tools.
  • Big 23 × 17 grids on a 6 × 9 page. That’s more letters than the main series, so the search lasts longer.
  • Forward-only words: across, down and diagonal, never backwards.
